Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai are the presiding deities of the Saranagati Temple.
Lord Chaitanya (Gaura) is to the right and Lord Nityananda (Nitai) is to the left.
Lord Jagannath (a form of Lord Krishna) is in the middle.
The Golden Lord in the gold country.
In His deity form, Lord Chaitanya, along with His brother Lord Nityananda, has taken shelter of the hills of British Columbia's interior to help those in the vicinity take refuge in the ultimate shelter. The world is full of peril and turmoil, either emotional or physical, and the only permanent shelter lies in being firmly situated in the service of the Supreme Lord.
Lord Chaitanya warned us not to rush for shiny objects, but rather to pause and look inwards towards the brilliance of the soul and rekindle its relationship with his beloved Lord, Sri Krishna, the most resplendent personality of all. Lord Chaitanya has shown that developing this relationship is an exciting and dynamic adventure filled with thrills and intense emotions. Plus, the rewards of this quest are out of this world and everlasting.
As long as we follow with patience, enthusiasm and determination the trails of the great personalities who have discovered the treasures of bhakti as taught by Lord Chaitanya, we will attain that sublime destination.
